a visit to a 'tandoori joint' was considered taboo for
members of indian society when they first opened in 1947
- soon, however, the intoxicating smell of charred meats
began to attract the curious upper classes who drove
through the narrow alley-ways in their limousines,
sending servants to pick up their food
set around our live, open charcoal pit & tandoor, mughli
takes inspiration from those halcyon days - straight off
the skewer, fat-still-sizzling meats, freshly-baked tandoori
breads & street food.. with a car park to the rear for the limo

half of our tables are allocated to walk-ins and the other half to bookings, with a waiting area available by the bar if there is a short wait
if you would like us to guarantee a table for you, a strictly non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required per person - we then return the deposit for each guest dining with us on the night

WHY ARE YOU SHOWING AS CLOSED DURING YOUR USUAL OPENING HOURS?
